Archive Description

A Cold War clone. This is a Soviet copy of the Intel 2716 EPROM. It features a distinctive brown/pink ceramic body and gold pins, a hallmark of Soviet military-grade electronics.

While the West used black plastic or dark ceramic, the Soviets often used these unique pink ceramics. It’s a piece of the Iron Curtain, built to run the guidance systems and computers of the USSR.
