From the golden age of AMD. The Athlon 64 X2 was the first dual-core desktop processor (beating Intel by days). The 5200+ was a mid-range workhorse that offered excellent performance per dollar.
The "Brisbane" core was manufactured on a 65nm process, running cooler than the earlier 90nm Windsors. It represents the peak of AMD's dominance before Intel struck back with the Core 2 Duo. A reminder that AMD was once the undisputed king of performance.
